Past Events & Rallies

The club tries to have at least 1 event a month ranging from family events like BBQ's, picnics and Tenpin Bowling to the seat of your pants no holds barred race meets like our annual Taupo race meet that never seems to disappoint and then there is always our Gymkhana at Baypark Speedway which is always a lot of fun.

Our three major events are the most fun of the year and club members look forward to them on their calendar. Our All Ford Day is most definitely the biggest event on our calendar being held on the first Sunday of March each year and every year it seems to out do the last, it really is a great celebration of the best car brand ever created!

The Taupo race day in June is a really good chance to get those prized babies onto a track and to use them to their full capacity and for what they were really created for. A lot of our club members like to use the day to learn how to handle their car and then there are the seasoned pro's who look forward to bringing their fully equipped race cars down and this is a good chance for them to better their times as they are able to go out as many times as they like. For a small fee this really is another great date to have reserved on your calendar.

We try to have 2 meetings a year at the Baypark pit area and it is a great excuse to take advantage of the nice smooth concrete seal and to get to grips with the whole sliding aspect of your car this is another event that never fails to dissapoint.

We try to be a very family oriented club and we are always open to any suggestions that anyone in the club might have and we can guarantee that any suggestion is considered.
